5 Ways to Organize Your Masks
Always losing your masks?
Running around panicking, trying to find them when the doorbell rings?
Constantly having to buy new ones for you and the kids?
It’s almost like the socks in the dryer…
No one seems to know where they go or why they’re never found again.
But never fear - there’s a solution!
Keep track of your masks by keeping them organized with these 5 simple organization tips.
1 - Hang Them in Your Command Center
If you don’t already have a command center, you really should!
They’re a one-stop-shop for everything you need to keep your family organized. They usually include mail organizers, key/coat hangers, and calendars.
Throw your masks onto some hangers along with some hand sanitizer for easy access whenever you need them!
You can even label each hook to remind your family whose mask is whose - or use it to dictate which masks are clean and which need to be washed!
This easy peasy trick keeps your masks organized and simple to find.
2 - Hang Them by the Door
Does this sound familiar? The doorbell rings and you panic, rushing around to find your mask. By the time you’ve found it, the visitor (or the pizza delivery guy - let’s be real here) has already left. Oops.
Instead of that, try hanging your masks right by your front door. You can use a key hanger, entryway hanger, or even command hooks.
That way, they’re right there the second the doorbell rings so you’re ready to answer it at a moment’s notice!
3 - Hang One from Your Rearview Mirror
If you’re constantly on the run, this is a great way to keep your mask handy at all times.
Simply hang it on your rearview mirror. Anytime you’re headed out to the grocery store, on errands, or to work, you can just grab it and go.
No more “I forgot my mask and have to go back home to get it!” It’ll always be ready for you in your car!
Remember to ALWAYS remove the masks from your mirror before driving! Don’t leave anything on the mirror that might obstruct your view.
4 - Throw Them on a Belt Hanger
Who said you can’t use organizers for a different reason than their intended purpose?
You can find belt hangers at Target, Walmart, the Container Store, At Home, Ross Dress for Less, Marshall’s, and even your local Dollar Tree.
Grab one of these and hang it up. It offers 11 spaces for all your masks!
5 - Create a Clean/Dirty Mask Station
Whether you’re using a command center or another hanging system, it’s always a good idea to keep track of what’s clean and what’s dirty.
This wall-mounted organizer, shown on the left, features 3 hooks for hanging masks, as well as hand sanitizer, and two labeled slots for dirty masks. Or you can utilize baskets with labels! It’s up to you.
When they’re getting full, you’ll know it’s time to wash masks with just a glance!
